Football pitches, basketball courts, volleyball and tennis court, playgrounds for children, and housing units abound in this state of the art sports center open free to the public.
These historic grounds have been used for recreational purposes for half a century, and as a football pitch for members of the Invincible Eleven, including the young Oppong Weah.
During the worst years of our history, it also served as prayer grounds for hundreds of women wearing white and committing their lives to returning peace to our nation. These Prayer Warriors will forever be remembered and welcomed to the park with shelter and comfort for prayer.
Inspired by the famous Invincible Eleven Majesty Sports club and located on the same practice ground, the newly constructed sports park, along with other on-going projects and initiatives around the country, is a manifestation of President Weah's vision to develop the nation through sports, and a significant advancement his mission to bring hope and change in the lives of youth.
